Approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and invested by Taiwan enterprises, Kunshan Deng Yun College of Science and Technology (DYC) is a three-year full-time college which is situated in Kunshan, a fast economically developed city with a rich cultural background. DYC is located in Kunshan's Ma'anshan Scenic Spots. With Yancheng Lake to its west and National Forest Park to its east, it enjoys favorable surroundings.

       The planned area for DYC is 700 Mu . The first-phase construction covers 300 Mu with an investment of RMB232 million. The teaching buildings and experiment bases are set up in accordance with the requirements of Education Ministry and the aims of training up-to–date talents. More than RMB23 million has been spent on instruments and facilities. The Intranet, library management system and on-campus credit card system are all established to meet the needs of building a digital campus. More than 25 training centers have been set up, including computer science, electronics, molding, digital technology, construction account, language lab, pub and environment art.

       DYC specializes in engineering courses on the basis of all-around developments of many other majors. Twenty-eight majors are distributed in seven Departments. The Departments and their majors are displayed as follows:

       Department of Information Technology (Computer Network Technology, Computer Applied Technology, Applied Electronics, Multi-medium Technology)

       Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (Numerical Control Technology, Mould Design and Manufacture, Mechanical and Electrical Integration Technology)

       Department of Architectural Engineering (Construction Technology, Architectural Design Technology)

       Department of Automobile Engineering (Automobile Testing and Maintenance Technology, Auto-mobile Application Technology, Automobile Electronic Technology, Automobile Technical Service and Marketing)

       Department of International Tourism and Business Management (Tourism Management, Hotel Management, Marketing,  Logistics Management)

       Department of Foreign Languages (Applied English, English for Business, Japanese for Business, English for Tourism, Japanese for Tourism)

       Department of Art (Art Design, Environmental Art Design, Product Modeling Design, Advertising and Exhibition)

       The faculty of DYC is made up of famous professors at home and abroad, experts and teachers who are both knowledgeable and experienced in real operation. In addition to the Diploma, each student of DYC graduates with a respective profession-oriented certificate so that he/she can adjust to the new occupation quickly and easily.

       From the very beginning, DYC strikes out the path integrating its education with the demands of the market. It has built up links with over one hundred joint ventures to make its graduates meet the needs of these enterprises. DYC promises to recommend its qualified graduates for suitable jobs.

       DYC carries out the national education policies and makes full use of the educational resources across Taiwan Straits.
